IE; An MMA competitor of 3 years should be able to out-srike a pure grappler of 3 years exp, or takedown and submit a pure striker of the same level.... Need coffee......

    Good topic! I see well-rounded fighters as those with demonstrated accomplishment in the 3 possible stages of an MMA fight; Striking, Wrestling Clinch/Takedowns/Throws, and submission attack and defence... As it stands, an MMA competitor of a comparitive level should always defeat a single-styled boxer, wrestler or BBJ stylist anyway, and the beauty of this sport is that most competitors now have realised the necessity of working EVERY aspect of the fight game and if the progress of our current athletes is anything to go by, we should start to see more and more of the real 'well-rounded' fighters taking MMA to the next level!

    Hey man yeah for sure, and if you ever come to Vancouver... while I can't get you in any of the big rooms, e-mail Pete Johansson for a spot at Yuks or Patrick Maliha for Lafflines. And I figured Mencia would be the type do that. I got bumped off a show in Seattle once cause Dane Cook decided to show up and do 30 min of new stuff. Frustrating indeed. I posted up a comedy thread on the forums called "racial slurs & dirty jokes" I just put a bunch of stuff in there, check it out and add to the pile if you want.
